ZES is the dedicated events venue on the sixth floor of the Nederlands Fotomuseum, set within the iconic Pakhuis Santos — a Rijksmonument-listed former coffee warehouse in the characterful Katendrecht district of Rotterdam. The space is bright and open, wrapped in panoramic views across the Rotterdam skyline and harbour, and the museum's industrial heritage architecture gives every gathering an atmospheric backdrop where history, culture and contemporary design meet.
The sixth-floor room spans roughly 300 square metres of fully flexible floor space and welcomes groups of thirty to around two hundred guests. It reconfigures effortlessly between a theatre-style set-up for up to 150 for a knowledge congress, a seated dinner for up to 120, and an open reception for up to 200 — making it equally suited to conferences, kick-offs, product launches, networking evenings and relationship events.
For larger gatherings the museum's entire ground floor can be hired for receptions of up to 500 guests or seated dinners of up to 85, and the full museum can be taken exclusively for a truly memorable occasion. ZES is operated by Qeet, a sustainability-focused hospitality partner that sources locally and seasonally across everything from coffee breaks and lunches to walking dinners and private dining, and any programme can be paired with a guided tour of the museum's exhibitions. The venue is well connected via the A16 and A20 motorways, with several parking garages nearby.
