Theater Rotterdam is the city's flagship performing-arts institution and one of the most versatile event venues in the Netherlands, operating two locations across Rotterdam. The main building — TR Schouwburg — stands on the iconic Schouwburgplein in the heart of the city, a five-minute walk from Rotterdam Centraal station. Designed by architect Wim Quist and opened in 1988, this landmark offers multiple event spaces ranging from an intimate 2-person meeting room to the grand Grote Zaal, which seats 879 theatrically, combines seated and standing for up to 1,000 guests, and has hosted galas, product launches and gala dinners for 300. The second location, TR8 at William Boothlaan 8, adds a Studio space for 80 to 120 guests in a neighbourhood setting.

The venue offers an unusually wide range of configurations for corporate use. The Grote Zaal features a 19 × 18 m stage with 73 flies, a flexible tribune and full professional lighting and sound — ideal for large-scale presentations, award ceremonies and annual congresses. The Hal provides a modular reception and networking area with three 135-inch media walls for live streaming and presentations, accommodating up to 500 for a reception. The glass-vaulted Erkerfoyer on the first floor — overlooking a courtyard garden — is a serene setting for dinners and cocktail receptions for up to 200. The Haltheater (100–150 guests), Kleine Zaal and multiple breakout rooms round out the offer, allowing multi-stream conferences and day sessions entirely within one building.

Theater Rotterdam's creative team of event managers, technical specialists and in-house caterers works alongside each client to add a distinctive cultural dimension — live workshops, theatrical inserts or custom light designs — that sets events here apart from standard conference centres. The venue is equally suitable for international congresses, incentive gala evenings and brand activations with theatrical production values.
