The Boathouse Kralingen is a standout event venue in Rotterdam, set directly on the water's edge of the Kralingse Plas in the leafy Kralingse Bos. The striking half-round glass pavilion — 600 m² across three distinct event levels — combines the best of two worlds: a central Rotterdam location with the tranquillity of a natural, waterside setting. For international corporate groups, it offers a refreshing contrast to the city's urban venues, with views over the lake and the forest as a natural conversation piece.

The venue hosts events for groups of approximately 85 to 500 guests on an exclusive-hire basis, making it ideal for high-end company celebrations, team-building days, product launches, leadership off-sites and gala dinners. The modular layout of the three levels allows for multiple programme elements to be run simultaneously — networking drinks on the terrace, dinner on the first floor, and a private reception or presentation space on the second — with no two events requiring the same setup. A state-of-the-art sound and lighting system is built in and complements any creative brief, from sleek corporate presentations to immersive branded experiences.

Catering is handled entirely in-house by an experienced kitchen team working exclusively with fresh seasonal produce, and the concept adapts fully to the group's needs: seated gala dinner, walking dinner, BBQ, themed buffet or food-station formats. Outdoor activities on and around the Kralingse Plas — sailing, stand-up paddleboarding or nature walks in the forest — can be built into the programme, making The Boathouse a compelling choice for group incentives that need both a memorable venue and an active outdoor element.
