Louwman Museum

Louwman Museum is home to the world's oldest private collection of automobiles, brought together over two generations by the Louwman family since 1934, and now numbering more than 275 exceptional pieces from 130 years of automotive history — from a century-old electric car to dazzling 20th-century design icons. Set in a purpose-built museum designed by world-renowned American architect Michael Graves, with landscaping by Lodewijk Baljon connecting seamlessly to the adjacent Haagse Bos, the Louwman Museum offers one of the most distinctive corporate event settings in the Netherlands.

Spanning 16,000 m² across three floors, the museum offers nine special event spaces accommodating 10 to 1,000 guests, with receptions and parties up to 1,000 and seated dinners up to 700. The dramatic Great Hall — the museum's central connecting space beneath an enormous timber-vaulted ceiling — sets an imposing stage for receptions, gala dinners, award ceremonies or trade fairs (capacity 50-1,000). The Theater, modelled on the Teatro Grande in Brescia (start point of the Mille Miglia), seats 335 guests in a warm, intimate auditorium with a built-in stage lift for presenting vehicles — ideal for congresses, symposiums, award shows or seminars. The atmospheric Museumplein, with its 1920s-style street facades, offers a uniquely characterful party setting, and four additional rooms for 10-40 guests are well suited to smaller meetings combined with a private museum tour.

The museum works exclusively with selected partners including Select Catering as house caterer, ensuring artisanal, contemporary cuisine and seamless service throughout. A private underground car park (170 spaces) plus 80 additional on-site spaces, free bus parking, and a dedicated museum bus stop just 8 minutes from The Hague Central Station all add to the venue's exceptional accessibility for large international groups, who consistently rate their events here a 9.4 out of 10.
