Felix Meritis is a landmark events venue on the Keizersgracht in central Amsterdam, set in a monumental building opened in 1788 as a society for arts and sciences and today a cultural centre for ideas, science and enterprise.
The venue offers six characterful halls: the double-height Concertzaal holds up to 400 guests across 231 square metres, the Zuilenzaal and Shaffyzaal each take up to 200 guests, the Teekenzaal up to 200, the Husly Lounge up to 120, and the domed Koepelzaal up to 120, giving flexible options for plenary sessions, break-outs and receptions under one roof.
Its historic architecture, grand staircases and canal-side setting make it well suited to conferences, congresses, gala dinners, meetings and receptions, with a restaurant on the ground floor and full event support.
Centrally located in the canal ring and within easy reach of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Felix Meritis is a prestigious base for international MICE and incentive programmes.
