De Weistaar

De Weistaar is a characterful countryside events venue set among the meadows near Maarsbergen, on the edge of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and just five minutes from the A12 — an easy reach from Amsterdam, Utrecht and the wider Randstad, yet a world away from the city. This former farmstead has grown into one of the central Netherlands' most versatile group locations, hosting anything from an intimate board dinner to a full-scale company festival for up to a thousand guests, with free on-site parking for around 200 cars.

Seven distinct halls give a planner room to shape almost any programme under one roof. De Deel is the flagship dining hall, opening onto its own terrace and seating up to 500 for a gala dinner; De Stal (up to 200) and De Boerenhoeve (up to 100) work beautifully alone or combine into a single 300-guest space. De Brink is a vast, high-beamed activity barn for up to 800 — its movable indoor boerengolf (farmers' golf) lanes make it a natural home for teambuilding and interactive evenings. The characterful De Hooizolder hayloft (up to 90, stairlift-accessible) and the intimate 't Voorhuis (up to 40) complete the offer, the latter a cosy lunchroom by day and a private dining room by night, with a courtyard for warm-weather receptions.

Every hall comes with its own audiovisual equipment, and the in-house kitchen and events team handle catering, activities and staging — from plated dinners and walking buffets to barbecues and country-fair entertainment.
