Amsterdam North

Van der Valk Hotel Oostzaan Amsterdam stands directly beside the A10 motorway on the northern edge of the city, close enough to reach central Amsterdam quickly but far enough out to give coaches and cars an easy run and generous parking.

The hotel holds 144 rooms and suites, generously sized and finished to the Valk Exclusief standard, alongside a wellness centre, an indoor swimming pool and a restaurant that handles both breakfast service and full group dinners.

For a DMC the practical appeal is the position: the Zaanse Schans, the villages of Waterland and the windmill landscape sit just to the north, while the A10 puts Amsterdam Centraal and the city's venues within a short transfer.

Van der Valk Hotel Oostzaan Amsterdam offers thirteen conference rooms, which makes it a substantial meeting property for a hotel of its size and gives a conference room to grow into as it splits across parallel sessions.

The spaces run from a congress hall able to seat a plenary audience in theatre style through to boardrooms sized for committee work, and the hotel's own meeting suite includes The Cube for smaller sessions. Layouts are flexible, so a single group can hold its plenary, its break-outs and its dinner without leaving the building.

With 144 bedrooms above the meeting floor, residential conferences and multi-day incentive programmes stay on one site, and the wellness centre and indoor pool give delegates somewhere to decompress between sessions.

Motorway access on the A10 makes this an efficient base for a programme that needs Amsterdam without central Amsterdam logistics, and it is a natural staging point for excursions north into Waterland and the Zaan region.
