Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen-Lent rises on the Hertog Eduardplein at Lent, on the north bank of the Waal directly across the water from the oldest city in the Netherlands.

Height is what this hotel sells. The upper floors look out over the river, the Waalbrug and the city beyond, and the best rooms are on the fourteenth: the Sky rooms and the Suite In the Clouds, which take the view as their whole design premise. The hotel counts 116 rooms in total, and there is a wellness area and Lola's Bar downstairs.

Nijmegen's centre, its Grote Markt and the Valkhof are a few minutes across the bridge, while Fort Pannerden and the river landscape of the Betuwe lie the other way, so an accompanying programme has both a city and a countryside option without a long transfer.

Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen-Lent carries twelve multifunctional halls, the largest of them the Waalsprong rooms, which combine for a plenary audience in theatre style and convert for cabaret seating or a gala dinner with its own bar and buffet in the evening.

Smaller work is handled by named boardrooms, including a glass-walled room on the meeting floor and the Cloud 14 boardroom on the top floor - a committee room with a panoramic view over the Waal and the city, which is an unusual thing to be able to offer a client. The meeting floor has its own break-out bar, so coffee breaks and receptions stay off the hotel lobby.

With 116 bedrooms in the same tower, a residential conference or a multi-day incentive stays on one site, and the restaurant and wellness area cover the evening and the downtime.
