Van der Valk Hotel Haarlem is a large renovated city hotel on the eastern edge of Haarlem, close to the historic centre and set between Amsterdam, Schiphol and the North Sea coast.

The hotel counts 315 rooms and suites across a range of categories, from single and comfort rooms through to family rooms fitted with bunk beds, which makes it unusually flexible for groups travelling in mixed configurations. A modern restaurant, bar and wellness centre complete the picture.

Haarlem itself is one of the most rewarding day-trip bases in the Randstad, with a compact historic centre, the Frans Hals Museum and the Grote Kerk, and the beach at Zandvoort a short ride away. For an incentive group the town offers the character of old Holland without the pressure of central Amsterdam.

Van der Valk Hotel Haarlem carries twenty meeting and event rooms, which places it among the larger conference hotels in the Amsterdam and Schiphol region while keeping the calmer setting of a provincial city.

The spaces run from a congress hall able to take a substantial plenary audience in theatre style down to smaller meeting rooms for break-out and syndicate work, and the scale of the building means a conference can hold its plenary, its parallel sessions and its catering under one roof.

With 315 bedrooms on site, residential conferences and multi-day incentive programmes can be accommodated without splitting a group across hotels, and the restaurant and bar handle group dining.

The location is a practical compromise for organisers who want proximity to Amsterdam and Schiphol without central Amsterdam room rates, with the historic centre of Haarlem and the coast both within easy reach for an accompanying programme.
