Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem sits on the Amsterdamseweg on the western edge of the city, where Arnhem gives way directly to the woods and heathland of the Veluwe.

The hotel holds 100 rooms and suites, recently refurbished, along with a wellness area, a bar and Restaurant De Veluwe, named for the landscape on its doorstep.

For an accompanying programme the position is genuinely strong: the Hoge Veluwe national park and the Kröller-Müller Museum with its Van Gogh collection are close by, the Openluchtmuseum sits on the same side of the city, and the Airborne museum and the Arnhem bridge give a programme a clear historical thread.

Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem offers ten multifunctional meeting and congress rooms handling groups from two people up to two hundred and fifty, which makes it a capable mid-sized conference address for the eastern Netherlands.

The rooms cover theatre-style plenaries, boardroom sessions and round-table working formats, and they convert for receptions and dinners in the evening. With 100 bedrooms, a wellness area and Restaurant De Veluwe on site, a residential conference or a multi-day incentive can be run without moving the group.

The Veluwe on the doorstep is the differentiator for an incentive programme, giving straightforward access to walking, cycling and the Hoge Veluwe national park between sessions.
