The Usual Rotterdam is a design-led hybrid hotel on Westblaak in the city centre, just off Witte de Withstraat. It works as a hotel, cafe and community space at once, and suits younger corporate groups and creative teams more than a formal five-star programme.
Sustainability is built into the fabric rather than bolted on: cork walls, terrazzo made from offcuts, reclaimed furniture, circular Auping mattresses and organic bedding throughout.
The hotel features 209 rooms across several categories — The Studio, The Plus, The Twin Plus, The Triple, The Accessible and the capsule-style Pods with shared bathrooms — an unusually broad range that makes it a flexible option for mixed-budget delegations.
