The Usual Rotterdam is a design-led hybrid hotel on Westblaak in the city centre, just off Witte de Withstraat. It works as a hotel, cafe and community space at once, and suits younger corporate groups and creative teams more than a formal five-star programme.

Sustainability is built into the fabric rather than bolted on: cork walls, terrazzo made from offcuts, reclaimed furniture, circular Auping mattresses and organic bedding throughout.

The hotel features 209 rooms across several categories — The Studio, The Plus, The Twin Plus, The Triple, The Accessible and the capsule-style Pods with shared bathrooms — an unusually broad range that makes it a flexible option for mixed-budget delegations.

The U Bar is a social bar and restaurant serving local dishes all day, alongside co-working spaces, The Game Room, The Mind Gym, an atelier and a 24-hour staffed reception.

Rotterdam Centraal is 16 minutes on foot and Beurs five minutes by metro. The hotel is approximately 60 kilometres from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and 6 kilometres from Rotterdam The Hague Airport.

The Usual Rotterdam offers 7 meeting spaces alongside flexible social areas — suited to breakouts, workshops and smaller board-level sessions rather than plenary conferences.

The spaces include The Creators Boxes and The Game Room, with the largest meeting room taking up to 27 delegates and The Mind Gym accommodating up to 40 people for group activities and workshops.

Every meeting room includes a screen, USB-C connection, notepads and a standard food and beverage package. Booking 14 days ahead is recommended, and a month ahead for larger events.
