Set in a landmark 1921 building originally commissioned by the Royal Holland Lloyd Shipping Company, The Hoxton, Lloyd Amsterdam blends maritime heritage with The Hoxton's signature contemporary design.

This national monument reopened as a Hoxton in September 2023 and sits in the Eastern Docklands, a creative, water-fringed pocket of Amsterdam East just a ten-minute tram ride from Centraal Station.

The hotel has 136 individually styled bedrooms that nod to the building's history while keeping the relaxed comfort the brand is known for.

Downstairs, Breman Brasserie serves European and South-American-inspired plates all day, and Barbue — set in the former shipping company's ticketing office — pours cocktails and doubles as a characterful event space. An original Dutch windmill stands next door.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is approximately 16 kilometres away, around a 20-minute drive.

The Apartment is The Hoxton, Lloyd's flexible meetings and events space: three interconnecting rooms — the Drawing Room, the Dining Room and the Pantry — used individually or as a whole.

Natural daylight, TV screens, flip charts and a help-yourself Pantry come as standard, with an Apartment host on hand throughout the day.

The Drawing Room seats 45 theatre-style, 24 boardroom or 26 for dining, and the Dining Room 36 theatre, 24 boardroom or 26 dining. Taken on exclusive hire, The Apartment holds 81 theatre-style, 48 boardroom or 52 for dining, and up to around 80 in a flexible layout.

The Barbue event space accommodates up to 150 guests for receptions and celebrations. From workshops and brainstorms to private dinners and larger parties, the spaces flex around the occasion, with tailored food and drink from the kitchen and bar.
