The ss Rotterdam is one of the most iconic venues in the Netherlands — a former ocean liner that served as the flagship of the Holland-America Line from 1959 until 2000, now permanently moored at Katendrecht quay in Rotterdam as a 4-star hotel, conference venue, and tourist attraction. Known as La Grande Dame, the ship retains its original Art Deco interiors, grand lounges, and authentic porthole cabins, all carefully restored and complemented by modern comforts. Guests choose from 254 hotel rooms across three design themes — Original, Manhattan, and Bahamas — each unique in shape, décor, and outlook. The ship houses multiple restaurants and bars, a spa, swimming pool, and 580 on-site parking spaces, making it entirely self-contained. A water taxi connection provides direct access to the city centre.

As a MICE venue, the ss Rotterdam accommodates up to 3,500 guests across 12 event rooms and 29 meeting rooms on four decks — Main Deck, Upper Promenade Deck, Sun Deck, and Bridge Deck. Signature spaces include the Grand Ballroom, Theatre (500 theatre-style), Sky Room, Odyssee Room, and La Fontaine Room.
