Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer is a four-star hotel and convention centre set directly on the shore of the Veluwemeer at Putten, in the centre of the Netherlands and a short drive north of Amersfoort.

The hotel has 93 guest rooms, 70 of them twins, many looking straight out over the lake. Guests have a restaurant, a hotel bar, a Business Point for flexible working, electric charging points and 440 free parking spaces at the door.

The waterfront setting is the draw. Terraces along the shore are used for lunches, dinners and drinks receptions, the hotel's own jetty can be hired for ceremonies on the water, and sailing, swimming and paddleboarding all start from the doorstep.

The hotel lies just off the A28, around six minutes from Putten railway station and fifteen from the centre of Amersfoort, which makes it a practical base for groups combining meetings with time outdoors on the Veluwe.

Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer offers nine flexible meeting and event rooms across 502 square metres of conference space, with a maximum capacity of 410 guests, covering everything from board meetings and training days to conferences and company celebrations.

Rooms can be rearranged and combined to suit the programme and several look out across the Veluwemeer. The hotel team takes care of technology, room layout, catering and styling so the programme runs without friction.

Outdoor space is part of the offer here. The waterside terraces and the jetty host barbecues, walking dinners and receptions, and the lakeside location lends itself to teambuilding, mountain biking and watersports between sessions.

There are 440 free parking spaces at the door and direct access from the A28, which makes the venue straightforward for delegates arriving by coach or car from across the country.
