Motel One Amsterdam is a 3-star design hotel on Europaboulevard in Amsterdam's Zuidas / RAI district, directly opposite the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre. Opened in 2015, it offers 320 guest rooms and is one of the most practical bases in the city for trade-fair delegations, conference groups and business travellers who want a short walk to the exhibition halls.

Rooms come in two sizes. The One is a compact 16 m² room with a queen- or king-size box-spring bed, a 40-inch flat-screen TV, a granite bathroom with rain shower and free Wi-Fi; the Special One adds a king-size bed, a large desk and 20 m² of space. Both are also available with a view over the city, and accessible rooms are available in The One category. All rooms are BREEAM-certified.

The ground floor is built around the One Lounge and bar, where the design references bicycles, tulips and Dutch still-life art, including an abstract bicycle installation that divides the lounge. Guests also have a breakfast buffet with organic products and fair-trade coffee, a workbench area with booths for working and small informal meetings, a quiet garden terrace, bicycle rental, limited garage parking with EV charging, luggage storage and a 24-hour reception.

The RAI metro station is within walking distance and the Europaplein tram and bus stop is next to the hotel. Amsterdam RAI train station connects directly to Schiphol Airport in around 10 minutes, and the hotel is approximately 13 kilometres by road from the airport. Amstelpark and Beatrixpark are both close by.

Motel One Amsterdam – The One room with a view

Motel One Amsterdam has no dedicated meeting rooms of its own, which keeps the concept simple and the group rates sharp. Its strength for events lies in its location: the hotel stands directly opposite the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, so conference and trade-fair groups can be accommodated a few minutes' walk from their meeting venue, with the city centre reachable in a short metro ride.

Within the hotel, the One Lounge and bar, the workbench booths, the breakfast area and the garden terrace lend themselves to informal gatherings, briefings, delegate registration points and evening drinks for groups staying in-house.
