Kasteel De Vanenburg is a four-star Superior castle hotel and conference estate in Putten, set on an authentic seventeenth-century country estate of thirteen hectares on the edge of the Veluwe, centrally placed in the heart of the Netherlands.

The estate offers 48 guest rooms and suites, spread across four intimate courtyards just outside the castle moat and surrounded by formal French gardens. The collection runs from 20 compact rooms through 18 deluxe rooms to 10 suites, including junior, luxury and superior suites, and every room and suite has its own private entrance and terrace, air conditioning, a minibar and complimentary wifi. Four of the deluxe rooms are configured with twin beds for corporate groups.

Dining is spread across the castle and the estate. The fine-dining Restaurant De Vanenburg has featured in the Lekker500 for seven consecutive years and serves lunch, high tea and dinner in the historic castle rooms, while Brasserie De Hoeve offers a more informal alternative with its own terrace.

The estate lies approximately 74 kilometres from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and less than five minutes from the A28 motorway, with Putten railway station 1.5 kilometres away and a complimentary shuttle available on request. Parking on the estate is free and 16 electric vehicle charging points are available.

With its castle setting, extensive grounds for outdoor activities and break-outs, and a full conference infrastructure alongside the bedrooms, Kasteel De Vanenburg is a strong choice for residential meetings, incentives and multi-day corporate programmes away from the city.

Kasteel De Vanenburg offers 12 meeting and event spaces spread across the castle itself and the historic outbuildings on the estate, giving groups the flexibility to run a plenary session, break-outs and dining without leaving the grounds.

The largest space is the Groot Auditorium in Klein Vanenburg, a renovated farmstead complex, seating 275 in theatre style, 140 cabaret or classroom, 54 in carre and 45 in U-shape, with its own foyer for registration and reception. It connects directly to the Tuinzaal, which seats 160 for a buffet and serves as networking, exhibition and break-out space, and to a covered and heated Tuinterras. The Bovenzaal on the first floor of the same building takes 14 in carre or 12 in U-shape.

The Oranjerie, standing in the castle gardens, seats 140 theatre style, 72 classroom, 36 carre and 30 in U-shape. In the Koetshuis, the Ridderzaal and Spiegelzaal each seat 32 theatre, 24 carre and 18 in U-shape and can be combined with one another.

Inside the castle, the Van Pallandtzaal seats 60 theatre style and has a hand-painted ceiling, while the Jan Coelenbier kamer takes 16 in carre and 15 in U-shape, and the Van der Neerkamer and Govaert Flinckkamer are fixed-setup boardrooms for 16 and 12 respectively. Vaeneveldtstaete, set among the castle gardens, holds the Staetenzaal, a boardroom with a fixed round table for 33, with the Europa and Amerika rooms in its lower ground floor seating 16 each for break-outs. The Theekoepel, an intimate pavilion in the gardens, seats 6.

Meeting packages cover the plenary room with flip-over, beamer and screen, wireless internet, meeting kit and an unlimited coffee corner, and extend to lunch, dinner and overnight variants. Audiovisual equipment, a marquee and technical assistance are available separately. The 13-hectare estate supports outdoor break-outs and team activities, and free parking with 16 electric charging points is available on site.
