Hotel New York Rotterdam is a 4-star landmark hotel on the tip of the Wilhelminapier at Kop van Zuid, housed in the former headquarters of the Holland America Line. It is arguably the most recognisable building in the city, and for incentive groups it carries a genuine story: this is the quay from which tens of thousands of emigrants sailed for New York.

The red-brick Jugendstil building sits directly on the water beside the Erasmus Bridge, with the city centre a short water-taxi ride across the Maas. No two rooms are alike — the twin roof towers and the former directors' offices have all been converted into guest rooms.
