Hotel Mooirivier is an independent boutique hotel in Dalfsen, on the banks of the Overijsselse Vecht near Zwolle. It pairs a country retreat setting with the polish MICE groups expect, including a MICHELIN Key restaurant and dedicated wellness facilities.

Housed in a thatched, farmhouse-style building on an old river dune, the hotel has been family-run and independently operated since 2008. Rooms and public spaces mix vintage pieces with contemporary design, set on private grounds running along more than 6 hectares of riverbank.

The hotel features 80 guest rooms across seven categories, from Small Room to Suite Riverview, together with a Spa Suite with its own private sauna.

Dining is led by chef Arjen Bonder at restaurant Aan de Oever, awarded a MICHELIN Key, while the wellness area offers a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared sauna and an adults-only riverside terrace.

Hotel Mooirivier offers 7 meeting rooms for conferences, breakouts and residential events, set on a private riverside estate near Zwolle, about 138 kilometres — roughly an hour and thirty-five minutes — from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

Every room has daylight and its own character, from an intimate boardroom to the largest hall overlooking the river. A dedicated event manager coordinates each booking and welcomes groups on arrival.

The largest space, the Vechtzaal, seats up to 160 theatre-style and has its own foyer and terrace. The Millingerzaal and Het Hof each hold up to 60, the Oever, Meander and Stroom rooms up to 30 each, and the Hofstede boardroom seats up to 10.

The estate extends across more than 6 hectares of private riverside grounds, with an outdoor amphitheatre and a jetty for water-based team activities. Free WiFi, free parking and free use of the gym are included, and the hotel sits close to the A28 motorway.

Catering is served in-house by restaurant Aan de Oever, and the surrounding grounds support outdoor team activities such as canoeing, archery and guided walks.
