The Delft Tile Painting Workshop is a hands-on cultural activity in the heart of Amsterdam's historic centre, where groups discover the centuries-old craft of Delft Blue and paint a tile of their own to take home.
Guided by an experienced instructor, participants first learn the history and traditional techniques behind the iconic blue-and-white ceramics, then put brush to tile to create their own design. All materials are provided — the tile, paint, brushes and an apron — and each guest leaves with their finished, hand-painted tile presented in a gift box.
The experience runs for approximately 90 minutes and suits both smaller parties and larger corporate groups: shared sessions welcome up to 24 guests, while private workshops can be arranged for groups from 10 people upwards. Its relaxed, creative format makes it an ideal team activity or incentive add-on, encouraging conversation and a shared sense of accomplishment.
Located at Oudeschans 17A, a short walk from Dam Square and the surrounding canals, the workshop is easy to combine with other activities in central Amsterdam. It is operated by FunAmsterdam, part of The Fun Group.
